The first part of the course talks about solar irradiance modeling. In it, you will learn about the most important parameters for solar power plant electricity output, how to calculated the generated power and how to choose a solar panel and inverter from a vast range of products. The second part of the course talks about the connection of a solar power plant to the distribution network. In it, a 1.25MW power solar power plant will be integrated into the grid, the optimal cable size will be selected, voltage fluctuations will be evaluated. You will also learn how to control the voltage level, how to calculate short circuit current, how to mitigate current and voltage harmonics, how to compensate reactive power, and how to select proper protection devices for the PV system. This part contains nine videos with their combined length being about 1 hour and 30 minutes. This part contains these video:
